About Silverton Agency

Audiobooks are incredible creations that let you immerse yourself in brilliant literature, turning reading into a dynamic, performance-driven experience.

Our Story

Silverton Audio was founded in 2014 after conversations with independent authors looking for a better alternative to restrictive self-service platforms. For more than 12 years we have helped independent writers bring their stories to life while keeping ownership of their work. Every time a listener buys a Silverton Audio production, they support independent creators, and we have brought hundreds of titles to life that might otherwise remain unavailable.

The Art of the Performance

A truly exceptional audiobook relies on a seasoned, professionally trained narrator. Beyond stellar listener reviews, many of our narrators bring extensive stage and screen experience to the microphone, adding deep emotion, distinct character voices and cinematic energy to every chapter.

Why Listen

Your travel companion. Whether you are commuting by car, taking a train or flying across the country, a great story turns tedious travel time into an inspiring journey.

Literacy skills. According to the Audio Publishers Association, audiobooks help “build and enhance vital literacy skills such as fluency, vocabulary, language acquisition, pronunciation, phonemic awareness, and comprehension—skills that often boost reading scores.”
